This brightly decorated upstairs restaurant, with a sweeping view of Marigot Harbor, has served traditional Creole and French cuisine since the 1970s. The setting has a certain charm as it was constructed to resemble a tree house around the trunks of old palms.
The chairs and madras tablecloths are a mélange of sun-yellow and orange, and the decor is Haitian, capturing much of the vibrancy of that troubled island.
It's the place to be on Wednesday and Saturday nights, when the dinner buffet includes roast pig, lobster, roast beef, and all the trimmings.
