If you're looking for a beach that's quiet but not totally secluded, Cupecoy with its pleasant white-sand beach is backed by low sandstone cliffs is a good choice.
On the far side is a clothing-optional area, where you can tan all over. It's almost on the French-Dutch border that runs through Terres Basses just west of the airport. No shade so take cover-ups. Not particularly easy to get to, but a beautiful beach nonetheless.
Stop at the Cliffhanger Beach Bar
, up the stairs leading to the villas of the Cupecoy Beach Club
for snacks, drinks and umbrellas. The views from above, across to the islands and the changing colours of the sea are truly beautiful.
Reached by car or bus - Parking is possible on the parking lot from Atlantis World Casino.
