Casual, open-air cafe, touristy but fun and sassy, a great place to meet people. It it's outfitted in an irrepressible color scheme of hot pink and white and located in the Maho Beach Shopping Complex on the Dutch side of the island across from Q Club and Casino Royale.

Cheri's Cafe is really only a roof without walls, and it's not even on a beach. But people flock to it anyway, devouring 18-ounce steaks, the ever-popular burgers, and grilled fresh-fish platters. The clientele represents everybody from rock bands to movie stars, from high rollers at the casino to beach bums.

While many come to enjoy the food and casual atmosphere, others stop by for the potent drinks and the lively entertainment. The house band keeps the place hopping in the evenings. The dancing and entertainment start at 8 p.m. and continues until midnight.
