On your way back down from
Pic Paradise don't forget to visit this 150-acre private nature preserve. Loterie Farm is a former sugar plantation, it opened to the public in 1999 by American expat B. J. Welch. Designed to preserve island habitats, Loterie Farm offers a rare glimpse at the island’s last remaining tropical forest. Hikers can arrange to take the Eco Challenge day hike along old plantation trails. Hundreds of years of history, culture and nature are now accessible to you.
Hikers will see ancient mango trees, the island’s famous Guavaberry trees, and hundreds of species of tropical plants and trees.
The
Hidden Forest Café is open for lunch and dinner, and
the elegant
Treelounge invites you to stop by for Tapas and Cocktails.
