The John Larmonie Center, located in Philipsburg, the capital of St.Maarten, brings something different to the dance scene.
It is home to the Imbali Dance School as well as the Motiance Dance Company.

The main focus of the Dance Company is to be a multi styled, versatile group, of which the dancers are trained in Classical Ballet, Jazz and Modern Dance and in Caribbean Folklore and Afro Caribbean Dance.

The mission of the school is to be a club-type second family for youngsters who dance, perform and receive dance training. This training can lead to a career in dance and/or teaching dance.

At present the Motiance Dance Company performs at theOyster Bay Beach Resort, every Tuesday at 8.30 in the LATIN NIGHT, and every other Sunday at 5.30 in the AFRICAN Show.
